3D Modelling and Design at the FabLab

The course is very practice-oriented and takes place in the FabLab at the University of Bremen. The international students come from various degree programs at the University and the University of the Arts Bremen.

In each session, I give theoretical input in a one-hour lecture. At the beginning of the semester there are practical exercises, which progressively turn into project work as the course progresses. One focus of the course is folding. The topic of the project is called "Breaking Folds". A folded object has to be developed that is intended to break up the increasing sealing of soils in large cities.

These objects must then be presented in a public exhibition.
